This was the first mansion block to be developed in Prince of Wales Drive in the 1890s, when Cyril Flower, the first Baron of Battersea, acquired land in the area.

We were first appointed to carry out external redecorations and repairs to the rear elevation, which we accessed via mobile elevated working platforms in the rear service road. We carried out extensive window, roof, brick and pipework repairs. The windows were decorated using the Dulux Weathershield system and all works were completed on budget and on time.

The following year we were appointed to carry out refurbishment to the front of the building, which included replacing the roof tiles and mansard roof with lead replacement. Our team of skilled carpenters renewed the timber decking to the turrets which finally received new lead dressed neatly to the turret curves.

We also carried out extensive ornate stone repairs, brick repairs, carpentry repairs and full external redecoration to the front elevation.

For the duration of the work, we installed scaffolding, including a vast temporary roof covering all 10 blocks which was carefully phased to minimise disruption to residents.
